Tips to help you stay safe when using online banking

To help you stay safe when using online banking, remember:

  • Do not try to access your online banking account via an email or an advert – the safest way to access it is by typing www.co-operativebank.co.uk into your browser's address bar
  • We’ll never send you an email with a link to a login page, or to update your security details
  • We’ll never call you and ask for the one-time passcodes made up of 6 numbers that we send you via text message – if anyone asks you for one, it’s a scam (if you call us we may ask you for an authentication key which is made up of letters instead)

If you notice anything unusual, let our fraud team know immediately by calling 159.
