Signature stamps

A signature stamp might be useful if you find signing your name difficult. You just have to sign your name by hand once and then we give you a stamp in the shape of your signature.

To get one:

  1. Order a signature stamp by logging into online banking and sending us a secure message or calling us on 03457 212 212 for current accounts and savings accounts, or 0345 600 6000 for credit cards
  2. Bring your stamp in branch so we can register it to your account.

Chip and signature debit cards

A chip and signature debit card allows you to sign for a transaction instead of entering a PIN. Once the card is inserted into a card reader, a message informs the trader that a signature is required.

To order a chip and signature card:

  • Log in to online banking and request them through a secure message or
  • Call us on 03457 212 212. Lines are open 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Saturday and Sunday. Call charges

Branch adjustments

Some of our branches have adjustments, such as:

  • Handrails
  • Power assisted doors
  • Private meeting rooms.

You can book appointments with our personal bankers so we can support you with any queries you might have, in person. We also offer extended appointment times if needed, so we have plenty of time.

To find a wheelchair accessible ATM near you:

  1. Visit the LINK website or download the LINK Cash Locator app. The app is accessible with VoiceOver and TalkBack screen readers
  2. Filter your search to show ATMs that are wheelchair accessible (you can also filter to show ATMs that provide audio assistance)
  3. Click 'directions' if you want directions to the ATM.

Note that some ATMs may charge for cash withdrawals. You can filter to show machines which are free to use.

To contact us using Relay UK's Text Relay service, dial 18001 followed by the number you want to call. Lines are open 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Saturday and Sunday. A relay assistant will join the call.

The Relay UK service itself is free. You'll only pay your normal charges for the calls you make. Please check with your phone provider for more details.
